International Women's Day in Cleveland event kicks off Sunday afternoon

CLEVELAND — On Sunday, women from all over Northeast Ohio will rally together on the steps of Cleveland City Hall as part of International Women’s Day.

The event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature more than a dozen speakers. At 4 p.m., participants will march to Public Square.

Keynote speakers include State Senator Sandra Williams, Cuyahoga County Council District 9 councilwoman Shontel Brown, State representative Bride Rose Sweeney, and activist Laura Cowan.

Cleveland City Hall is located at 601 Lakeside Avenue.
