CLEVELAND — A triple homicide suspect wanted out of the Lima area was captured by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in Cleveland Wednesday morning.

According to authorities, Deontray Forrest, 24, was caught at an apartment in the 6900 block of St. Clair Avenue.

The homicides happened on Feb. 4 at Levels Lounge in Lima, authorities said. Police responding to the scene found one person dead outside of between two businesses. Two other individuals were found dead inside the bar.

Forrest is currently being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Allen County where he faces pending homicide charges.

"Quick work across the district resulted in a swift arrest of an extremely violent individual. The city streets in Lima are a safer place with Forrest in custody and this should send yet another message that violent criminals have nowhere to hide in northern Ohio,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said.
