Man shot, killed in vacant lot in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood

CLEVELAND — A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in a vacant lot Tuesday morning on Cleveland’s East Side.

According to Cleveland police, the shooting happened around 7 a.m. in the 10400 block of Elk Avenue in the city’s Glenville neighborhood.

When officers arrived on scene, Cleveland EMS were already there. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Officers interviewed nearby neighbors but were unable to locate a witness.

No arrests have been made.
