CLEVELAND — Cleveland police have released an image of a man and woman accused of stealing two pieces of luggage, one of which contained the cremated remains of woman who grew up in Northfield, according to a report and the woman's family.

On Oct. 17, police said the two people in the below photo allegedly took two pieces of luggage from the American Airlines carousel and left the airport on an RTA train.

The family whose luggage was stolen is hoping someone comes forward with the luggage.

"We don't care about the luggage, it's more what's in that box — burial box,” said Harold Karaka, who just arrived with his family in Cleveland Saturday night with plans to hold a memorial service for his late mother-in-law Doris.

The family is offering a $100 reward. If you know where the suitcase is, you’re asked to return it to Cleveland Hopkins Airport police.
