CLEVELAND — "The Bachelor" fans might want to make an appearance at the 11th annual Brite Winter Music Festival in downtown Cleveland because it will feature a star from the show—the legendary pierogi cart.
On Monday, Jan. 27, the Cleveland-based episode of ABC’s “The Bachelor” aired on News 5. During the episode, Bachelor Peter Weber and contestant Kelsey Weier had a one-on-one date in Public Square, dancing along to a polka band and stopping to get a bite to eat at a pierogi foot cart.

It was nice to see Cleveland showcased in such a positive light on national TV, but there was just one problem—Clevelanders had never experienced the joy of a pierogi cart placed conveniently in the middle of downtown, and they wanted it.
“Fans of the show were disappointed to hear that the pierogi cart didn’t exist, so it has been fun to work with Brite Winter to make this happen,” said Joe Becker, owner of Pierogi Joe’s food truck, and the pierogi cart that was featured on “The Bachelor.”
Luckily for fans of “The Bachelor,” or just fans of pierogi in general, the public will finally have a chance to experience the notorious pierogi cart at Brite Winter Music Festival on Saturday, Feb. 22.
While the cart made it’s debut on national television last month, the real debut is Saturday as we common folks who didn’t get a rose can now order the delicious Polish dish straight from the cart, which somehow seems like it will taste even better, if that's at all possible.
Brite Winter Music Festival runs from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Flats West Bank located at 1221 Main Street in Cleveland.
