Cleveland police need your help finding SUV involved in hit-skip that injured motorcyclist

CLEVELAND — On Sunday, a 38-year-old man on a motorcycle was struck by a car in Cleveland that fled the scene and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the hit-skip driver.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. near East 93rd Street and Kinsman Road, according the Cleveland Police Department.

Authorities said the SUV was heading east on Kinsman Road when it crossed into the westbound lanes and hit the motorcycle. The SUV fled the scene. The SUV could be black, gray or charcoal in color and likely has damage to the left front area.

The motorcyclist was transported by Cleveland EMS to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center for serious injury, police said.
