CLEVELAND — As more districts opt-in to begin the school year with remote learning, including the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Eric Gordon, CEO of CMSD, along with a local school board president and network manager of MyCom, will host a webinar Tuesday to show how the community can help parents, students and teachers this fall.

The webinar, sponsored by the NeoSTEM Ecosystem, is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday via zoom. Those who are interested in participating can attend and register for the discussion here.

“The NeoSTEM Ecosystem is a network of partners from many sectors – from K-12 education to business and industry - all working to improve STEM learning opportunities for all,” said Alyssa Briggs, interim director of NeoSTEM. “This webinar is the first of many steps that NeoSTEM will be taking to mobilize the network to help meet needs of students, families, teachers and administrators with the expected challenges of learning in the Fall.”

Organizers said all are welcome to join Gordon, Mark Curtis, president of the Twinsburg Board of Education; Cynthia Booker, a media teacher; and Kasey Morgan, network manager of MyCom as they outline plans for learning in the Fall and discuss anticipated needs.
