CLYDE, Ohio — A Cuyahoga Falls woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly trying to carjack a motorist at a gas station on the Ohio Turnpike.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the suspect, Lisa Michelle Todaro, 33, is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and could face additional charges.

The incident happened around 9:05 a.m. at the Erie Island Service Plaza in Sandusky County, troopers said.

The victim told authorities that a woman approached him at the service plaza gas station, brandished a knife and demanded his car keys, troopers said. When the man refused, the woman went inside the service plaza building.

Authorities said they located the woman inside the building near the shower area and when she didn't obey commands, they used a Taser on her. A knife was found in the woman’s possession.

No injuries were reported.
