CLEVELAND — The Cleveland FBI is looking for help identifying four people who were caught on camera stealing a safe from a wall in a pharmacy.

It happened on May 30, 2020. That’s the same day peaceful protests turned into rioting and looting in downtown Cleveland.

“This was part of the protest that turned into riots in downtown Cleveland where damage was done,” said FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson.

It happened at a CVS Pharmacy in downtown Cleveland. The safe was filled with controlled substances. The suspects carried the safe next door, broke into it and stole the drugs inside, said Anderson. That makes it a federal health care violation, Anderson added.

The FBI is now hoping someone recognizes the people in the pictures. “They are not the best photos but we think someone in the community may recognize them,” Anderson said.

There is reward money available and tips can remain anonymous. Call the Cleveland FBI at 216-622-6842.
