CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man was killed early Tuesday morning after being struck by a car while crossing the highway on foot in Cleveland.
According to Cleveland police, it happened around 4:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 between the East 9th Street and Carnegie Avenue exit ramps.
Authorities said that the man was trying to walk across the highway when he was hit by a Honda Accord. He was then transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
