WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 22-year-old man walking across a highway in Washington Township near Mansfield was killed late Friday night when he was a struck by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before midnight on Interstate 71 near mile marker 166.
The man has been identified as Jason A. Greene-Smith, of Youngstown, authorities said.
The driver of the Sonata wasn’t injured in the crash.
The matter remains under investigation.
