CLEVELAND — On Friday, the U.S. Marshals Service captured a fugitive who has been on the run for more than a year.

According to authorities, Antwon Porter, 42, was wanted in connection with an armed robbery for allegedly breaking into a home on Crestline Avenue with a gun in Cleveland on Feb. 20, 2019.

Porter took various items from the home and then left after stealing the resident’s car, the marshals told News 5 last year.

He was captured after someone sent in a tip to the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

According to Cleveland Municipal Court records, Porter is charged with aggravated burglary. A court date hasn’t been set.
