BEDFORD, Ohio — A toddler who was flown to Toledo for treatment following a house fire in Bedford last week has died, according to the Lucas County Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities have identified the child as 2-year-old Carter Jones.
Carter is the second person who died in connection with a fire that happened at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Center Road on Dec. 22.
The fire was contained to a single apartment. The other victim had previously been identified as 49-year-old Gregory Jones, authorities said.

The exact cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.
