MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — A 25-year-old man was shot when a fight broke out Danny’s Tavern in Maple Heights Wednesday.
Shortly after midnight, officers responded to Danny’s Tavern, located at 15313 Broadway Avenue, for a report of a male shot.
A 25-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in his lower abdomen outside the bar. The victim was conscious and transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Detectives discovered a fight started between two males inside the bar. The fight spilled outside where one male took a gun from his waistband.
The 25-year-old victim and the other male struggled over the gun before the victim was shot. The shooter fled the scene.
Police were unable to give a description of the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 216-587-9624.
