The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota beat out Cleveland Clinic for the No. 1 spot. After the Cleveland Clinic came John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

In Ohio, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center ranked No. 2 as the overall best hospital in the state.
