WESTLAKE, Ohio — A 58-year-old man sustained minor injuries Saturday when he crashed his car into a sign near Taco Bell in Westlake.
It happened just before 8 a.m. on Columbia Road in Westlake. Authorities say the impact caused the car to flip vertically. It came to rest on the Taco Bell sign on the side of the road.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
"Impairment is suspected to be a contributing factor to the collision," police said.
The matter remains under investigation.
