Police are asking for the public's help after a pedestrian was hospitalized following a hit-skip crash in Solon on Tuesday night.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m., police said.
According to authorities, a man walking near the Bedford Heights border on Cannon Road close to Valley Lane was hit by a silver car that fled the scene. The Cannon/Valley Lane intersection sits in a small residential neighborhood. No other details about the silver car are available.
The pedestrian was taken to Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital. Police said the person sustained injuries to his hip, leg and head. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
