PARMA, Ohio — A police pursuit that started in Parma Heights Saturday evening ended in a crash on Pearl Road, according to police.
The pursuit began just after 5 p.m. and ended in Parma on Pearl Road at Fernhill Avenue, according to an officer on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that was fleeing police crashed into utility poles, police said.
Officers are still searching for the driver, but a passenger in the vehicle was taken to be questioned, according to police.
Pearl Road at Fernhill Avenue is expected to be closed for at least the next three hours while crews work to repair utilities, according to police.
