EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — A $2,500 reward is available for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting that killed a man on Strathmore Avenue in East Cleveland.
On Aug. 29, officers responded to the 14300 block of Strathmore Avenue for a report of shots fired and a male down.
They found a man, later identified by the medical examiner's office as Delorean T. Johnson, lying on the ground with numerous gunshot wounds to his body.
East Cleveland EMS transported him to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are asking if you were in the area of Strathmore Avenue in the city of East Cleveland and have information relative to the shooting, to call detectives at 216-681-2162 or Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7643.
