Two people were killed in a crash over the weekend after a smash-and-grab in Middleburg Heights.
Broadview Heights police say the van smashed into a gas station at Broadview Road and Wallings Road and the four people inside stole an ATM. The van then headed east on Wallings Road near I-77.

Officers located the van but the driver attempted to get away from police and eventually crashed.
The crash resulted in the deaths of 21-year-old Antonio Laffette Ponyard Jr. and 22-year-old Johnigan Reeves. The other two surviving suspects were arrested. Their names have not been released.
