PARMA, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Board of Health will hold a virtual briefing on the county's response to the coronavirus pandemic Friday afternoon.

The board's medical director Dr. Heidi Gullett and commissioner Terry Allan are expected to address the media.
This briefing comes after the Ohio Department of Health reported 1,290 new COVID-19 cases in the state Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 70,601.
