MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — A Maple Heights woman will spend the next nine years behind bars for robbing the same store two days in a row last year.
Rachellette McKissack, 26, was sentenced to 114 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of robbery and one count of using a firearm during a violent crime, according to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said McKissack robbed a consignment store in the 28000 block of Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere on Nov. 15, 2018. She returned the next day and robbed the store a second time with a gun.
“For two consecutive days, this defendant terrorized people who were simply going about their day,” U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said. “We will pursue a long prison sentence for anyone who uses a firearm during a robbery.”
