The Painesville Police Department is asking for the public's help in gathering information in the case of a 16-year-old high school student who was fatally shot last week.

Friends and family gathered on Sunday for a celebration of life vigil to remember the teen. "My son has this huge bright smile and whenever he would come in the room he would make me smile too," the teen's mother, Michelle Timley said.

According to TImley, the shooting may have been over a dispute involving a Sony PS4 game console. Authorities are still investigating the case.

Police haven't released any suspect information.
