Body found floating in Chagrin River in Eastlake identified by police

The Eastlake Police Department is investigating the discovery of a body found in the Chagrin River Sunday night. 

According to authorities, officers were called to The Deck Lounge on Lake Shore Boulevard around 7 p.m. for reports of a body floating in the river. 

On Monday, police confirmed the body pulled from the river has been identified as William Bailey, 66, of Willoughby.

Lake County Coroner's Office was called to the scene and transported the body.

Eastlake police said there is no suspicion of wrongdoing at this time.
