BRUNSWICK, Ohio — The Brunswick Division of Police is searching for a suspicious driver who allegedly talked to children and offered them money before driving away, according to police.

On Thursday at around 4:43 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 4200 block of Magnolia Drive for a report of a suspicious person.

Witnesses said a male driver was driving around in what is believed to be a white Honda Accord with a sunroof. The driver approached children from his car.

The male driver allegedly offered the children money at which time they left the driveway area of the neighborhood complex and told their parents.

The male driver is described as having dark hair, wearing a blue shirt and possibly glasses. The driver fled the area towards Pearl Road following the interaction.

If anyone recognized the vehicle or person in the car, you are asked to call the Brunswick Division of Police at 330-225-9111.
