RAVENNA, Ohio — A 22-year-old man wanted for allegedly dragging a North Jackson police officer during a traffic stop earlier this week was arrested Friday by the U.S. Marshals Service.

According to police, the traffic stop happened Wednesday in the 2500 block of Salem-Warren Road.

Authorities say that during the traffic stop, the suspect, grabbed the officer's arm and then started driving and the officer was pulled along by the car. The officer freed himself and was later transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect was located Friday morning at a home in the 300 block of East Highland Road in Ravenna. Authorities said they found him hiding in a bathtub.

The suspect was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and transported to the Mahoning County Jail. He is expected to face attempted murder and felonious assault charges in connection with the traffic stop, authorities said.
