Teen girl charged in fight involving around 100 people that injured teen in Jackson Twp.

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 15-year-old girl was injured Saturday night during a fight involving approximately 100 people in Jackson Township, located in Stark County, according to Police Chief Mark Brink.

Officers responded at around 9:15 p.m. to Skyzone, located at 4381 Whipple Avenue, for a report of an active fight involving approximately 100 people.

When officers arrived, staff members said a female was “unconscious and her body was shaking.”

The 15-year-old girl was knocked down and kicked in the head while on the ground, police said. She was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.

Officers arrested a 15-year-old from Canton in connection with the fight. She was charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

“We are aware that there are others involved in the assault and are actively attempting to identify those individuals,” police said in a statement.
