BARBERTON, Ohio — A Barberton man accused of downloading child pornography and engaging in sexual activity with two minor females was arrested on multiple charges Monday, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael P. Keeran, 42, of Barberton was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor, a second-degree felony; pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a second-degree felony; gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony; and sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor.
An investigator from the Ohio Crimes Against Children Task Force contacted the sheriff’s office regarding an individual they believed to be downloading child pornography in Barberton.
A search warrant was executed at a home on Elmwood Avenue.
Investigators performed computer forensic examinations on digital evidence found in the home.
It was determined that Keeran allegedly engaged in sexual activity with two minor females.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
