A man who was convicted of hitting and killing a teenager on Interstate 76 in March 2016 was sentenced Friday to three years in jail.
Charles Queer, 64, was also ordered to pay a $15,000 fine and he will have a lifetime suspension on his driver's license.

The Tallmadge man pleaded no contest to driving into the back of 17-year-old Patricia Powell's disabled car on Interstate 76.
Powell died as a result of the crash.
Queer was found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
His BAC was more than two times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
