SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — If you have a boat moored in the Portage Lakes in Summit County, the sheriff’s office is advising that you go and check on it because it may have flooded or even sunk.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that its marine patrol saw several docked boats that were flooded, and some were even sinking due to the heavy rains.

If you or someone you know has a boat, now's a good time to go and check on it.
