CLEVELAND — How much do you hate waking up to find snow covering your driveway? With some parts of Northeast Ohio recording more than a foot of snow, there is an app that allows you to dispatch someone to plow your driveway — kind of like an Uber for snowplowing. It's called "Plowz and Mowz."

During Tuesday’s snowfall, the service said it received a request for help every 20 seconds.

Before you book, here is how the service works.

“First of all, there's no contract. You get an instant price and then it gets dispatched out to the hundreds of trucks that are driving around the Cleveland area," said Wills Mahoney, the co-founder of the app. "From there, you know, once the job's completed, the user gets a picture of the completed job and the job closes out and your credit card gets charged. So it's a really simple process, just very easy to use,”

It costs about $45 on average to have your driveway cleared. Along with plowing, there are options for shoveling sidewalks and salting your driveways or walking paths.

Once the snow melts and the outdoor season begins, Plowz and Mowz, as the name suggests, is also available to mow your lawn.
