Thousands still without power after severe weather causes widespread damage

CLEVELAND — After severe weather swept through portions of Northeast Ohio overnight on Tuesday, there are still over 10,000 residents without power.

The storm left significant tree and equipment damage, particularly in Summit and Portage counties.

Current outages as of 7:00 a.m.:

Cuyahoga County: 174
Medina County: 3,505
Portage County: 1,200
Richland County: 97
Stark County: 497
Summit County:2, 829
Wayne: 119

On Wednesday, Ohio Edison said crews are currently out clearing damage and restoring power. The current times for restoration are:
- Kinsman, Warren, Youngstown – 10 am Thursday
- Hartville - 12 p.m. Thursday
- Akron, Medina, Kent, Salem, Jackson - Thursday night
