CLEVELAND — A funeral will be held Tuesday for a Cleveland firefighter who died from COVID-19 complications. Lt. Richard Petras died on Aug. 15.
Watch the funeral procession in the media player below beginning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church, 3644 Rocky River Drive in Cleveland.
Petras worked for the Cleveland Fire Department for 26 years, mostly in the Glenville neighborhood. He was promoted to lieutenant in July.
Road closures will be in place on Rocky River Drive from Lucielle Avenue to Claire Avenue from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for the funeral.
