A man remains in the hospital in critical condition, after being hit a by a pizza delivery driver on Friday.
His former wife is now speaking out about what exactly happened.
Samantha Gray said she and her ex-husband Robert Gray were crossing the sidewalk from of the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
She told News 5 Robert unexpectedly pushed her out of the way and got hit.
"I can't sleep, all I see is him flying in the air and calling my name. I just see it over and over in my head," she said, "He saved me, and he got the brunt of the deal."
Samantha told News 5 that she now wants justice for Robert.
"She [the driver] needs to get charged to the full extent," she said.
Police said the driver was on the way, delivering pizza, when she struck the Grays. No charges have been filed, as this case is still under investigation.
Samantha and Robert Gray were both life-flighted to the hospital.
Samantha was treated for her injuries and released. However, Robert remains in critical condition in the hospital with multiple fractures to his leg and jaw.
She is now asking for prayers for him from the community.
