Akron police searching for a missing teen who left home voluntarily on Feb. 19

AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are searching for a missing teen who left her home voluntarily on Feb. 19 and hasn’t returned since.

Kaitliyn Coones, 15, was last seen leaving her home in Akron on Feb. 19.

She was seen getting into a white pick-up truck and wearing a gray Ohio State hoodie.

Police do not believe she is in danger and say she has had multiple prior incidents where she left home.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 330-375-2552.
