CLEVELAND — A 6-year-old girl who was not taken to a court-ordered drop off location by her mother Thursday afternoon has been returned to her father and is no longer missing, Cleveland police confirmed.
The girl's father obtained custody of her and the court ordered her mother to bring her to the lobby of the Fifth District Police Station, according to police.
The girl's mother never brought her and police were not able to locate them.
Police reported the girl missing Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday at about 9 p.m., police confirmed that the girl was returned to her father and is no longer missing.
