PICKERINGTON, Ohio — A statewide Endangered Missing Child Advisory has been issued by the Pickerington Police Department in Fairfield County for a 12-year-old boy who authorities say was taken by his non-custodial mother.

While this is not an Amber Alert, authorities said that they believe the child could be in danger.

Christian Gabriel Atkins is a Black male, standing around 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Mario Bros. shirt, black sweatpants and black and orange shoes.

Authorities state that Christian was taken by his mother, Shevann Atkins, 38, whose parenting rights were suspended recently in court.

They may be traveling in a 2018 silver Ford EcoSport with the license plate GJL7075.

Anyone who knows of Christian's whereabouts is asked to call the Pickerington Police Department at 6-14-575-6911.
