Missing Adult Alert canceled for 79-year-old Akron man with dementia

AKRON, Ohio — A missing 79-year-old Akron man with dementia has been found safe.

The man had left his home on East Exchange Street around 9:30 a.m. Sunday and failed to return.

Police described him as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 1-866-693-9171 or 911.
