UPDATE: The boy has been found safe, police said.
Cleveland police were searching for a missing 8-year-old boy who had last been seen Friday.
The boy had last seen at his home when he ran away from a caretaker after being disciplined at about 5 p.m.
A Missing Endangered Juvenile Alert was issued, but police confirmed on Sunday that the boy had been found safe.
Preliminary information indicates the boy was with family, police said.
