MENTOR, Ohio — Update: The man has been found.
Mentor police have issued a statewide Missing Adult Alert for an 86-year-old man who drove away from his home Tuesday and hasn't been heard from since.
He is a white male who stands about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray and white flannel shirt, blue jeans, and a Cleveland Indians baseball hat.
Authorities say that he has dementia and other medical issues.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 1-866-693-9171.
