CLEVELAND — A new initiative aimed at finding missing children across Northeast Ohio is underway by the U.S. Marshals Service.

The program, called Operation Safety Net, will focus on finding endangered and missing juveniles in Cleveland and the surrounding areas, authorities said.

It also aims to identify missing juveniles who are at a high risk of human trafficking and abuse.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and local law enforcement agencies, according to authorities.

Anyone with tips regarding missing children is asked to call 1-866-492-6833.
