PARMA, Ohio — Local police officers went to Toledo on Tuesday to attend the funeral for an officer killed in the line of duty.
Toledo Police Officer Brandon Stalker, 24, was shot once by a gunman who barricaded himself inside a home and later died from his injuries on Martin Luther King Day, police said.
Officers from Parma and officers from Fairview Park attended the funeral.
Two Akron police officers were a part of the honor guard.
