WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio — Eddy Road will soon be closed as crews complete overhead bridge work on Interstate 271, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Beginning on Friday, Aug. 21, Eddy Road between Bishop Road and Som Center Road will be closed for 100 days for the bridge work, ODOT said.
Crews are working to replace and realign the ramp from I-271 northbound to Interstate 90 westbound, replacing two bridges between Eddy Road and I-90 in Willoughby Hills.
The entire project is estimated to be completed in September 2021, but the Eddy Road closure will only last 100 days, according to ODOT.
Motorists will be detoured using Chardon Road while Eddy Road is closed, ODOT said.
