CLEVELAND — The COVID-19 pandemic-19 has affected every person in some way, and one of those ways is a change in access to Wi-Fi, whether it’s a college student leaving school or a family unable to afford another bill.
For the next 60 days beginning March 16, Charter Communications is offering free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum subscription.
Charter said in a news release that it partnered with school district to get the word out about this free service.
Charter also will open its Wi-Fi hotspots across its footprint for public use.
