CLEVELAND — After Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday that all 181 Bureau of Motor Vehicle locations would shut down, except five, some are probably wondering what locations are still open and if can you do anything online.
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced you can do the following things online without even stepping foot inside a BMV location:
- Vehicle registration
- Check availability of specialty plates
- Driving records
- Change of address
- Register to become an organ donor
- Reinstatement requirement fees
- Fleet and power of attorney services
- Check status of registration
- Next of Kin
Go to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles website for instructions.
The following five locations will stay open to provide the issuance of commercial driver licenses and renewal of CDLs.
