CLEVELAND — Hofbrauhaus Cleveland, a popular downtown restaurant and bar known for its German beer and convivial atmosphere, confirmed on Wednesday that two of its staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
The two employees tested positive for the virus on Monday. Management said it’s believed these two individuals contracted the virus outside of the restaurant.
"We take our responsibility to the public very seriously. We have decided to close our doors immediately until further notice as a precaution to keep our city, employees and valued guests safe to thoroughly clean and sanitize our entire facility following health officials’ guidelines before moving forward with any food services. We will be posting updates on our social media channels as they become available," the restaurant said in a Facebook post.
