PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio — Beginning Monday, the Miller Boat Line will begin operating on a seven-day a week schedule with trips made every hour.

On Friday, the village docks and private marinas will reopen, so will the public restrooms at DeRiveria Park. Several shops are reopening this week and restaurants will follow the governor’s guidelines, with outdoor dining opening this Friday and indoor dining opening on May 21.

There will be additional safety measures in place, including curbside pickup at the island general store, as well as designated hours for at-risk individuals at the post office and gas station.

The city is also asking summer employees and residents whose second home is on the island to quarantine for 14 days.

Meanwhile, there will be the annual blessing of boats Tuesday and the aircraft ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Local clergy will bless the boats and planes serving the islands.
