CLEVELAND — Platform Beer Company has extended its “Every Case” campaign, in which it donated $5 to food banks across the state for every case of Haze Jude Hazy IPA sold, after it was able to fund approximately 200,000 meals for Ohio residents in need during April.
Some of the food bank partners that were helped by the campaign include the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Akron Canton Regional Food Bank and Shared Harvest Food Bank.
“We have been absolutely blown away by the support our team, partners and Platform fans have put behind such a great cause,” said Justin Carson, co-founder, Platform Beer Co. “We are humbled and proud to be to do our part to support the communities we call home.”
The campaign will be extended through the month of May with two additional food partners; Second Harvest in North Central Ohio and Catholic Charities Food Bank in Richland and surrounding counties.
When customers use the brewery’s home delivery service, customers can add items from local businesses and pick up orders as part of the Pay It Forward program. The brewery also announced a Get a Shirt, Give a Shirt program that gives Platform Beer Co. T-shirts to frontline workers.
