CLEVELAND — Platform Brewery has closed three locations, including its Phunkenship location, after a employee who worked at both the Cleveland and Columbus taprooms tested positive for COVID-19.

The Cleveland-based brewery said out of an abundance of caution it chose to close the Cleveland and Columbus taprooms and the Phunkenship location, which will allow a thorough cleaning and sanitation of all of its locations.

“All our taprooms have and will continue to follow all local government and health officials’ guidelines and precautions, and we can confirm that our food and beer have not been affected. We feel this is the best decision at this time to ensure safety of our guests and staff,” the brewery said in a statement on Facebook.

Home delivery beer services are still available to customers in Cleveland and Columbus.
