CLEVELAND — Two Northeast Ohio businesses—in Cleveland and Lakewood— were issued citations for violating Ohio Department of Health’s COVID-19 health orders Thursday, according to the Ohio Investigative Unit.

Park Social Lounge in Cleveland, located at 1299 West 9th St., in Cleveland, was issued a citation for improper conduct-disorderly activity.

At around 8:55 p.m., agents with the OIU documented patrons inside the bar were elbow-to-elbow with one another throughout the premises.

Patrons were observed walking around the bar freely while consuming alcohol. Agents said patrons gathered in large groups at tables and at the bar, while numerous others stood behind them,

The OIU previously cited Park Social Lounge in November for the same violation in addition to hindering inspection. In August, it received the same improper conduct violation and failing to post its permit. The business was given a 5-day suspension and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

In Lakewood at Waterbury Coach House, agents arrived at around 10:30 p.m. and found the business fully operational. Between eight to 10 patrons were consuming alcohol.
